DataSync Receives Funding from South Eastern Development Foundation

Funding will be used to support regional workforce development.

Sioux Falls, SD – February 22, 2016 – DataSync Corporation today announced that it has been awarded a $250,000 loan from the South Eastern Development Foundation (SEDF) to support its workforce development efforts.  Using these funds, the company plans to add up to 10 new employees to its Sioux Falls staff in 2016.

DataSync is a rapidly growing software advisory and engineering firm located in Sioux Falls, SD.  The company provides advisory services to organizations interested in using software to automate marketing, customer management and back offices systems into one seamless platform.  It has been named as one of SugarCRM’s top Elite Partners for the past two years and in 2015 became the region’s first Microsoft Tier 1 Cloud Solutions Partner.

DataSync pioneered the use of Customer Lifecycle Solution analysis in the design and implementation of integrated business software systems.  This approach allows the company to systematically review and evaluate customer processes from lead generation to sales management to order processing, customer contracting and fulfillment activities and identify ways to improve software systems to increase profitability through revenue increases and operating efficiencies. The company then assists its customers in the development and implementation of these improvements.

Craig Anderson, DataSync’s Chairman, stated, “The SEDF loan program is an outstanding regional resource for workforce expansion.  SEDF understands the challenges of growing an employee-based services firm and provides expert analytical assistance as well as financial resources to support fast growing area companies.”

The South Eastern Development Foundation partners with local banks to provide “gap” financing to businesses for buildings, equipment, inventory, leasehold improvements, and working capital. The rates range from 4.75% to 8% depending on the project.

“With SEDF’s assistance, DataSync will be able to expand its footprint in Sioux Falls and add several new, high paying jobs to the region.  We look forward to watching DataSync continue to grow and prosper in the future.” said South Eastern Development Foundation Executive Director Lynne Keller Forbes.

“The SEDF analysis and funding team are experts in workforce expansion funding.” added Anderson. “We went from the initial meeting to a final closing in about 4 weeks.  The due diligence requests and documentation were all reasonable and well executed.  I have no hesitation in recommending SEDF to other regional businesses with similar needs.”
